Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing The Naval Medical Clinic Portsmouth - Branch Health Clinic Oceana with Nurse Practitioners. The Nurse Practitioner are expected to perform the following

• Providing high-quality care, increasing access & improving outcomes for Veterans and the other members of the patient population.
• Obtaining and evaluating medical histories; performing physical examinations; performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures; and ordering laboratory studies, radiographs, electrocardiograms, and other special examinations.
• Making arrangements for further care if appropriate (e.g., by entering consults) and serving as a consultant to other providers.
• Working collaboratively with all levels of staff including trainees (e.g. medical students, NP/RN students, PA students, interns, residents, etc.) and a multidisciplinary staff in a fast-paced educational, and collegial environment.
• Developing and implementing evidence based nursing protocols and organizing educational activities targeted toward staff training and development.

• Master's degree in nursing, Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse Practitioner.
• Possess a minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner within the preceding three (3) years.
• Have successfully completed thirty (30) hours of education in pharmacology for advance nursing practice.
• Have the ability and training to prescribe to and manage patients on psychiatric medications.
• Provide two (2) letters of recommendation from practicing physicians. At least one (1) of the letters must be from a supervisor and shall attest to the HCW's clinical skills, productivity, knowledge base and rapport with co-workers and supervisors. The other letter may be from other physicians who have personal knowledge of the HCW's patient care skills in a similar clinical environment. Reference letters must include name, title, phone number date of reference, address and signature of the individual providing reference. The letters of recommendation letters must have been written within the preceding three (3) years.
