Automotive Electrician

Clay Cooley Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Electrician to assist at our Arlington Installation Shop. We are committed to hiring a skilled individual with strong mechanical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

The Automotive Electrician's key tasks include following technical manuals, conducting inspections to ensure proper functionality, troubleshooting issues, and addressing customers regarding the installation of the vehicle.

Role Responsibilities:

• Install products like audio systems, alarms, GPS, remote starters, and auto trim, which may include auto glass and advanced driver-assistance systems.
• Test and calibrate new installations to ensure quality assurance and meet manufacturers specifications.
• Identify and fix any issues that arise with the newly installed components.
• Follow schematic diagrams and safety guidelines to perform installations accurately and safely.
• Communicate and explain the services rendered to customers, and answer questions and advise on proper care.
• Maintain detailed records of all installations, repairs, and services performed.

Employee Prerequisites:

• Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
• Physical stamina to perform demanding talks like heavy lifting and standing for long periods.
• Mechanical aptitude, certifications, and licenses. Pay based on experience and training.
• Computer skills for record keeping and using diagnostic software.
• Customer service and communication skills for daily interactions with explaining repair options.
