THE BRIEF

PULSE is a cloud based post production platform comprised of multiple applications. Each of these applications has a purpose to help shepard assets in the form of original camera files, through the production pipeline. In the movie industry security is paramount. But for the first time major workflows can now be initiated and handled by the user, instead of employing an entire post production house like Technicolor to perform the tasks. PULSE is our attempt to make that vision a reality.

USER FLOWS

This stage is crucial to understanding the path a user will take through our application. The step is vetted against applicable personas, iterated to reduce unecessary steps and finalized into a process that we think is adding value to the user through our product.

WIREFRAMES

Typically, I start with low fidelity marker drawings of screens, based on the approved user flows. Since the user flow focuses on the users path. This step helps me extract the views required along the way.

INTERACTION DESIGN

The user flows and wireframes are crucial to determining the views needed. My goal with these interaction animations was to show transitions between those views while still in the low fidelity stage.

PROTOTYPING & HANDOFF

This stage lives and breaths in InVision. As the sole Designer with a team of ten Developers it is crucial that I am able to keep a centralized space for the latest designs, comments and sharable prototypes. Our code is hosted in GitLab, but our designs are hosted in InVision.
